2025 President’s Safety Professional
of the Year Award Banquet
Each year, Sumter Utilities recognizes outstanding employees through the President’s Safety Professional of the Year (PSPY) Award. To be eligible, a crew must complete all four quarters of the year without a single safety incident. From that distinguished group, leadership selects those who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to safety.
This year’s celebration was held on May 28, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina. The evening brought together award recipients and their families for dinner, dancing, and remarks from leadership, a fitting tribute to the dedication these individuals bring to their work every day.
